April 2025
Working as a receptionist in a dental office saving up money to live on her own.
She had been working as a receptionist at a dentist’s office. Unfortunately, it was revealed that the environment was unhealthy. Sarah and the BFA team are working on finding a new safe job where she can flourish.
She began working at daycare center this month! She is very excited about this new opportunity.
July 2025
She has continued to work at the day care center. There’s a possibility she may switch to a similar role at a different center after a month of summer holidays in August.
October 2025
She decided to leave transition home and go directly into independent living with two other girls from our program. She has an apartment with Lisa and Meana and we continue to mentor all three girls.
January 2026
We have hired her to help with childcare. She takes care of Amal's son at the transition home on weekdays while Amal is at school. She also helps take care of a baby and a toddler at the gov't center a couple times a week when their moms are studying.
