Opening NEW Transition Home

Beauty For Ashes opened it's first Transition Home: Healing House Jan. 2018 in Morocco. Since opening we have seen 33 girls come through our home rather than finding themselves on the streets being exploited. Each girl who comes to our home receives: A room, clothes, food, medical care, personalized education plan, trauma based counseling, language tutoring, Mom mentorship, help finding a job, and transitioning into society. Everyone needs safe, decent and stable housing, with an atmosphere of love to learn and grow in. We are the first and only Transition Home for at-risk girls in North Africa. All of our girls would be forced onto the streets without Beauty For Ashes Transition home. Our home provides for their immediate and basic needs, but our efforts go much deeper and further too. This January 2023, we're opening our 2nd Transition Home: Hope House will offer the hope of a future to pregnant, unwed , young women who would otherwise have no where to go and no hope of a future to raise their child. These young women would otherwise be vulnerable to trafficking because of the desperateness of their situation within the local culture where they are rejected by family and society, often resorting to abortion or abandonment of their child at birth and prostitution as their only means for survival.

To prevent exploitation and restore victims of human trafficking by breaking the cycle of vulnerability and empowering them to live flourishing lives through Transition Homes for girls full of love, mentorship, counseling, education and self-sustaining assistance

We Need Your Help

We need to fund the start up costs of furnishing and hiring staff for the hope House so that young women will be given a home during and for a period following their pregnancies. they will also be involved in training and mentoring that will help them to find a livelihood following their child’s birth and be helped to establish themselves in their own housing living in family with other young single mothers.
